Is this air fryer easy to clean?
Yes. Basket and grate pull out and rinse under water in about 5 minutes total; the nonstick coating sheds oil so most food rinses straight off without scrubbing.
Can I put the basket in the dishwasher?
Check the manual for your model. Hand-washing is safest for nonstick; if dishwasher-safe is claimed, top rack and low heat are gentler on the coating. We washed by hand in this test.
Will the nonstick coating wear off?
It degrades faster with metal utensils, harsh detergents, and oven-cleaner-style chemicals. Avoid metal and abrasive scrubbing; use silicone or wood tools and paper liners to extend the coating's life.
Does even browning actually make cleanup easier?
Yes. If food scorches in one corner it bakes on and needs scrubbing. Even browning means food comes off the surface cleanly — that's the quiet reason this unit rinses off so fast.
